I am using some of my family history (Duffin) for a dissertation on their emigration and have found some conflicting information and also other information that I need to clarify.

According to Griffiths' Valuation Francis and others lived at Brae and the immediate lessor was William Watson. Could anyone tell me if the landowner was a different person and also who the landowner for Brae and Knockanully was in the 1830/40s?

I believe that the landowner in Knockanully (Crockanully, Cruckanully) in the 1830's and 40's was Stephen Moore, Lord Mountcashel. I have the 1831 Tithe Applotment records for that townland which show a John Duffin and a Roger Duffin paying tithes at that time. In the Encumbered Estates records Hugh Duffin is representing both Roger and John.
